Today I will be showing you an edible DIY that isn't only good in the Winter, but I still love in the Summer, Spring, and Fall!
Preparation Time: about three minute
Cooking/Baking Time: ranges from 1 min 30 secs to 2 minutes
Total Time to Make: about five minutes
Ingredients
one cup of milk
2-4 FULL spoonfuls or tablespoons (it doesn't really matter) of nutella
whipped cream, preferably in a spraying canister (optional)
chocolate shavings/chocolate sprinkles (optional)
marshmallows, preferably rainbow! ;) (optional)
Tools
Microwave
Measuring Cup (Microwave safe)
Spoon
Mug
NUTELLA HOT CHOCOLATE
1) First get out your milk and pour one cup into the measuring cup. MAKE SURE THE CUP IS MICROWAVE SAFE. If you're not sure, ask a parent. If you are a older Marshmallow and have your own house, then try searching the internet if your cup is microwave safe.
2) You may want an adult's help for this. WATCH THE MILK THE WHOLE TIME TO MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT BUBBLE OVER AND SPILL. If you have a high-quality or commercial microwave, then you might have to only put it in for 1 min 30 secs. But if you have a regular microwave then proceed with the regular 2 minutes. (Go below the picture for explanation) *
3) Take out the milk. Be careful, it's hot! ;)
4) Get your tablespoons or spoonfuls of nutella and put it in. The amount differs depending on how sweet you want it to be!
5) Mix well and fast. The milk is hot now, so the nutella should dissolve as you mix it with your spoon.
6) Make sure your Nutella is all dissolved. From now on, these steps are optional, but they're just things I like to do, so if you can't or don't want to do this you don't have to, and enjoy your drink!
7) Take your whipped cream and squirt as much as you want into the cup! I like to fill mine to the top.
8) Add 5-10 Marshmallows, depending on how much you like.
9) Add your chocolate shavings/sprinkles!
10) Put back in the microwave for 10 seconds. The marshmallows, whipped cream, and chocolate will melt a little, making it perfect!
11) Mix in the whipped cream till dissolved.
12) Enjoy!
* Reason why you can't put it in the microwave too long: The milk might boil and spill in your microwave and/or become solid with gross milk chunks.
